Meet The Founders

Donna Beverly

Donna’s passion for Deepwater Women arises from her own personal and professional experiences in dealing with the transitions and seasons of women’s lives.

Her life has been spent as an advocate for those who need a voice. First as a special needs teacher working in inner city schools and later as a seasoned attorney dealing with families in crisis, she brings a wealth of experience in counseling, discipling, and just helping folks get a fresh start.

After returning from the mission field in Ecuador during college years, she came home to the States with a heart for young people and a love for the Latino community that never left her. Today, she serves as founder and CEO of a Christian ministry, International Mission Connection, based in Honduras, that seeks to empower and engage young people from impoverished areas to become ministry leaders and champions within their own culture.

Through IMC, she has planted churches, formed international discipleship groups, and founded projects to educate, train, and motivate disadvantaged people groups. A mediator, author, and speaker, Donna brings her practical everyday experience as a mother, a grandmother, and a survivor of unexpected twists in the road, to encourage and inspire others to find purpose and meaning in the journey.

Amy Consoli

As a founding partner in Deepwater Women, Amy Consoli brings a compassionate talent for connecting with women, as she continues her own journey toward experiencing the God without and within us.

Leaving a successful corporate career, Amy now celebrates a different and exciting chapter in her life. She completed her Spiritual Director training through The School of Sustainable Faith, and received her Master of Arts degree in Spiritual Formation and Direction from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA.  Amy’s time is devoted to women’s ministry including speaking, writing, individual and group Spiritual Direction with both The Agape Center for Spiritual Formation and Wellspring Group.

Amy has a keen insight and sensitive understanding for women who want to find more meaning in their everyday walk with God. With her background as a single career woman coupled with her life now as a wife, step mother, and grandmother, Amy is uniquely tuned in to the real-life issues that women face in the evolving  stages of their lives. Amy’s experience as a leader within ongoing ministry groups is now stirring her to expand her reach.

As she joins Deepwater Women, she continues to move ahead in her passion for helping women “take a seat at the table.” Her devotion for helping others find their place in God’s plan is now carrying her deeper into discipleship ministry and writing. With a quiet manner that reflects her graceful heart, she shares Biblical truths, as they apply to the seasons of women’s experiences, in a way that makes us want to gather closer.
